Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with an idea for a layout. This layout came from one of those late nights. I couldn't wait to get up this morning and see if I could translate it to paper. I typed the word "love" in different fonts and sizes, and then fit them together like a puzzle. For my layout, I backed each one individually with different papers, but it would also look nice to have it be all one pattern or color for an easier (and just as pretty) look. Since a lot of time went into making this cut file, I thought I'd share it. This is my first time sharing a cut file, so I hope I did it right! I make quite a few things like this in Silhouette Studio, so if you are interested in me doing this on a more regular basis, please let me know!

Now that this surprise has made it to its recipient, I'm excited to share a mobile I made for our niece's nursery. Michael's sister is expecting a baby, and we are just so excited!! This is our first time being an Aunt and Uncle and we can't wait to spoil our little niece. Unfortunately, Michael's sister and her husband live across the U.S. from us. I wanted our baby niece to have a little craftiness from her Auntie Allie in her life, so I made this mobile to go in her nursery without telling anyone, and sent it on its way. Before I did, I managed to snap a few pictures. They're not perfect since the mobile is so big and it's hard to hold it and get the camera far away at the same time! Oh well :)

If you know anything about my scrap style, you'll know that I'm a big fan of anything girl. Pinks, purples, pastels in general, glitter, hearts, shiny things, flowers, I LOVE IT ALL! I'd like to think that Manda put this together just for me, but I'll admit it might have something to do with the month we're in.
