This month's mood board challenge from Life.Paper.Scrapbook. combines some of my favorite trends right now: brush script, bright colors, triangles, and watercolors.

Isn't that so gorgeous and inspiring? It is so springy and happy! Here is the layout I made inspired by this fun mood board:

The Lemon Lush by Studio Calico patterned paper mixed with Amy Tan's brush script thickers are a match made in heaven! And I love the pops of gold!! This mood board is gorgeous and I can't wait to create more projects using it as inspiration!

New Issue of Life.Paper.Scrapbook.!

I am so excited that there is a new issue of Life.Paper.Scrapbook. out! Manda outdoes herself every single time and it is always such an honor to be included in this amazing publication! This issue is jam packed with 149 pages of goodness and inspiration! I loved the interview with Linda Townes, who made one of the funniest scrapbooking videos ever! Twirly Girly Color Challenge

Hi there! I'm excited to be sharing my version of a color scheme using the Twirly Girly collection by Chickaniddy Crafts. Here is the color scheme I created with today:

Lately I've been in the habit of including pops of black in my layouts. I love the look it gives, especially with splatters of black mist! I was super excited to see this color challenge. Here is my take:

Chickaniddy Supplies: Paper (TG140S12, TG140S04, TG140S06, TG140S01, TG14S10, TG01S03), Stickers (TG14EB02, TG14EB04), Brads (TG14EB06), Enamel Hearts (TG14EBO7); Other Supplies: Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist in Black, Dear Lizzy Date Stamp, Black Staz On Ink

The mist didn't go on as nicely as I like it to, but I love that it's a surprise how it turns out every time! I love my family so much and was so excited to use the 3"x4" cut out from the Keepsakes paper as my title! Brads and sentiment stickers helped create a visual triangle. I also loved cutting out the flowers from Rosy Posy paper and mounting them on foam dots. So fun and a great and inexpensive way to embellish your projects!

Life.Paper.Scrapbook. April Sketch Challenge

April is one of my most favorite month because it means spring and birthdays for both Michael and I! I am excited to start the month off with this fun sketch for the Life.Paper.Scrapbook. sketch challenge!

When I saw the multiple photo layout, I knew I wanted to use these shots of my pup wearing his doggles! He's so cute!!!

For the layers I used a mix of Dear Lizzy Daydreamer and Polka Dot Party. I love how they go together!

Terrific Twirly Girly

Hello everyone! If you know anything about me, you probably know that I am crazy for all things girl! Pinks, pastels, flowers, everything! I'm just a girly princess at heart, which is why I adore the Twirly Girly collection from Chickaniddy! I love the the girly colors with the splashes of green and grey. I think it's a gorgeous and unique take on a fun theme!

Creating this layout was so easy! I simply took one inch strips of my favorite Twirly Girly patterns and glued the on the page in rows. I put two different patterns on each row, making sure to vary the patterns and where the two ends of the strips met.

I love the gold foil paper for adding an elegant touch to any project. I cut part of the title and a doily from the gold foil using my Silhouette Cameo. Another favorite product of mine are the banner stickers!! I love how easy it is to create a banner. I simply attached the top of the sticker to a piece of twine and it was done! No folding or cutting required, and it was so easy to stick on my page.
