Michael and I are super excited to visit Seattle next weekend! We're going in honor of the new Starbucks Roastery! While thinking about our trip, I was looking through some photos when I realized that we might have a slight addiction. You know it's out of control when you involve the dog in your coffee shenanigans...
Hi everyone! Now that all my layouts using the February Punxsutawney kit from Clique Kits have posted,it's time to share them all in one place. I really enjoyed this kt because I love the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection and the beautiful pinks, purples, and blues it includes! I made six layouts with this kit, and I'm still not tired of it yet! :)
And that wraps up February's kit! If you're interested in getting this kit or anything else in the store, use ALLIE10 for an extra 10% off!! Have a spectacular day!
Happy Friday! I just wanted to pop in and share a layout I created last week. I've been super into watercolors recently, and I've been trying to think of creative ways to use them.
To create this layout, I cut a background out using my Cameo, and then painted the entire piece of paper on the cutting mat before I took it off. Next, I placed the negative part on my blank cardstock, and used it as a stencil to place the rose petals. I removed the negative, and the background was complete!
I wasn't really sure how to embellish it since there is a lot going on with the flower, and I don't have a lot of purple embellishments. I grabbed the crate Paper Kiss Kiss glitter thickers since they were in eyesight and used those. It's not my favorite layout, but I had a lot of fun making it!
Have a great day :)
This month's pep rally theme is in honor of Valentine's Day! We're focusing on love, Galentines, and/or sweet treats. Today's layout is about my sweet cousin, who I adore. She's also a gal, so I think that covers all the categories!
Isn't she adorable? I used the blues of the kit to complement the blues in our photo.

Next on the list is the talented Kat! There is a ton of inspiration on this blog hop, so don't forget to check out the other stops! The Clique Kits blog has the full list. Have a fabulous day, and happy hopping!
Hello! I'm excited to share a new layout created for The Cut Shoppe with the adorable new Give a Dog a Bone cut file! Given how crazy we are about Teddy, the "Rescued & Loved" part of this cut file had my name all over it!
I got some sketch pens for Christmas (thanks Mom!) that I hadn't broken into it yet, and I thought they would be perfect for this layout.
If you want to learn a little more about how this layout came together, please stop by the Cut Shoppe blog! Have an awesome day!
Happy Sunday! I have lots of fun pictures to share this week :)

ValenTED's Day!
I hope your week was as fun as ours!
Hello! I had a layout up at The Cut Shoppe earlier this week. The Heart to Heart background cut file is gorgeous!
To find out how I created this layout, please stop by the blog! Have a wonderful day!
Good morning! I noticed that I've really gotten into the habit of using white cardstock backgrounds lately, yet I still keep buying sheets to use as backgrounds. Today I decided to mix it up by actually using one of the papers I bought to use as a background!
I had a lot of fun making this page! I played around with the chipboard from Crate Paper's Kiss Kiss until I got the look I was going for. The layout was missing something, so I added doilies! Doilies fix everything :) I adore those gold sparkly words from the Maggie Holmes Open Book collection! I've used almost all of them and I need to get another package. I love how the gold looks with the pink and black!
I love this collection so much that I think I need to go make some more layouts with it!
Good Morning! I have an extra special layout today up on the Chickaniddy blog today, it was definitely a labor of love :)
I'd love it if you'd stop by to check it out! Have a lovely day!
Welcome to another installment of Teddy Tuesday! This week I am happy to report that Teddy is on the mend. His eye is healing nicely, and in a few more days he will be cone free!! He looks pretty pitiful with his cone of shame, and I couldn't resist snapping some pictures of us cuddling on the couch, which is what we've done for hours and hours and hours since his surgery! I turned those pictures into a layout using Crate Paper Kiss Kiss collection.
To create this layout, I punched lots and lots of shapes using this punch and then cut them in half. I knew I wanted them placed at an angle, so I used a pencil and a ruler to create a starting off point (where the gold glitter tape is). I aligned the shapes, making sure to alternate. Once I had them all adhered, I used the glitter tape to cover any imperfections in the first row (my hand-cutting leaves much to be desired). Then I just layered and embellished using the Kiss Kiss ephemera and chipboard! Crate Paper makes the most beautiful Valentine's collections!
And because it's Teddy Tuesday, here are a few pictures of our favorite furry patient!
He's getting SOOO fluffy! |
He was knocked out while I was holding him in my arms! It was so funny! |
I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!
