I saw these cut files in the Studio Calico shop (sadly no longner available), and I HAD to have them! It was a set of 4 images that were perfect for backing with pattern paper, which was fitting since it was designed by Patterned Paper Queen Paige Evans! I took one of the images, scaled it down, and cut it out four times. I backed it with patterned paper from the new Crate Paper Poolside collection. I love it!

I've had to put scrapbooking on hold the last couple of weeks because life has gotten in the way. Michael and I are so excited to be in the process of buying our first house! We found a perfect home in our budget, and our offer was accepted! If everything goes off without a hitch, I'll be able to announce it soon!

In the mean time, I've been trying to organize, purge, and pack as much as I can. Michael is studying for a certification that he has 90 days to get (for work), so I'm on my own with the packing. I've already started the process because even if this house doesn't go through, we'll likely be moving soon. Anyways, I digress. I was able to fit in just one layout last week! It was so therapeutic and much needed.

When I saw these cut files in the Studio Calico shop, I KNEW I had to have them. They are perfect for backgrounds! I immediately cut out this circle and used it to create a fun background. I backed each part of it with different patterns using the Amy Tangerine 6"x6" paper pad! Since it was a time-consuming layout, I wanted to use a special picture. I chose this picture of the three of us that I recently took. They make my heart happy!

I seriously don't know what I'd do without my Tiny Attacher! The other day I ran out of adhesive and wanted to glue a cut file to my layout. Further complicating the matter was the fact that it was watercolored and curling at the edges! Rather than go to the trouble of reloading my ATG gun, I stapled it to the layout and let the ends curl up like I meant them too. Problem solved!


The purpose of this layout was to play with gelatos/watercolors. Mission accomplished! I had fun goofing around and am happy how well it with with one of my favorite photos from our anniversary shoot. I've been saving the last few photos for something special, and it's almost time for us to get this year's photos done! Anyways, the moral of the story is that I love my Tiny Attacher ;)

I'm super excited to be kicking off an exciting week of inspiration in honor of The Cut Shoppe and Scrapbook Circle Team Up! I created several layouts using the "Have a Little Fun Today" June Kit!

For the first layout, I used the All Heart background cut file with the gorgeous Authentique paper! I the unique color combo and thought it would be a great background. I love this photo of us from our two year anniversary shoot, and how well my shirt compliments the paper.

I also made a fun card with this kit!
